Paris Jackson Walked the Red Carpet Makeup-Free

She looked stunning

19-year-old Paris Jackson might be one of those gorgeous Hollywood celebs to be expected to adhere to the glam-life stereotypes, but besides being the daughter of the late pop King Michael Jackson and being rich and famous, she’s actually pretty down to earth.

In fact, Paris Jackson hates the notion that women need to adhere to certain beauty standards.

She isn’t a fan of hair removal, as we have seen in her Instagram posts boasting armpit hair and a hair-growth competition with her brother, and she likes to ornate her body with a new tattoo every time a unique idea comes to her mind.

Pretty much, she is showing her followers that being beautiful isn’t necessarily about altering yourself to the typical standards – it’s about accepting yourself as you are and heading out into the world in whatever way you feel comfortable and confident.

Jackson just hit the red carpet all-natural – a.k.a. makeup-free, and we just realized how beautiful it is to let go and be yourself.

She was stunning in a while new way – like, “I just woke up and I’m ready to conquer the world” type stunning.

Paris Jackson Boasts Painful New Tattoo – On Her Chest

Artistic expression can be excruciating

19-year-old Paris Jackson, daughter of king of pop Michael Jackson, just posted a view of her latest ink, which follows a series of over 50 tattoos throughout her body.

Jackson’s latest tattoo is a series of symbols which represent the seven chakras, believed to be the centers of the body through which energy flows.

The symbols are aligned down her chest – an area which makes any tattoo enthusiast cringe as it’s known to be extremely painful.

While some people love tattoos and some simply detest them, what truly matters is their affect on their wearers.

Paris Jackson is attached to her body art, and explained in an older post why these tattoos empower her and give her positive feelings towards herself when she sees them.

the craftsmanship of tattoos will always be a controversy. some people like them, some people absolutely hate them. i appreciate art, i always have. especially when that art means something to me. today i can look at my inner forearms and see art that has meaning for me, i don't see a dark past anymore. my scars and past of self-hatred have been covered by loving marks, creativity, ingenuity.. and depth. sure i will always carry my past with me, but i see ink as a way of changing for the better, always improving. they represent strength for me. i look back at my old self and then i look in the mirror, and i see a fighter looking back at me. i'll always keep fighting, and encouraging others to stay strong. we all go through hell every now and then but it makes us the warriors of love we were meant to be. so to anyone struggling, it gets better. you're not alone.

Whatever you feel about tattoos, you can’t deny that this teen celeb is following her own individual path and creating an identity she loves to be associated with.

She doesn’t care about norms or fitting in – and it’s beautiful.

Paris Jackson Careless About Her Leg and Armpit Hair

No, she doesn’t care what you think

Paris Jackson is known for her blatant individualism and empowerment – she has no intention to conform to common beauty standards or try and adjust to a typical celeb image of a young woman her age.

Many women are praising the celeb for rocking the natural look and ditching the shaving trend, because she seems to be sending a message about “conventional beauty”.

While there is nothing wrong about shaving – let’s admit, most of us love to be bald and smooth from the eyelashes down – it’s important to also send a message to young women that there is nothing wrong with not shaving, and we shouldn’t be pressured to adjust ourselves to norms which we have no preference for.

Young women should have their freedom of choice when it comes to grooming practices, fashion choices and self-expression.

Who knows, maybe the unshaven look will, in itself, become a “trend of not following trends”.
