We’ve almost forgotten the series, but we’ll defintely tune in
It’s official – Roseanne Barr’s classic sitcom is getting ready to bring out some nostalgic emotions, with most of the original cast participating in the upcoming miniseries.
The typical working-class American family has taught us a lot about placing our loved ones at top priority through humor, drama and characters who are easily empathized with.
What should we expect from the return?
Well, according to a blog post written by Roseanne Bar back in 2009, she envisioned a return of the show in which Dan returns “alive after faking his death,” while “DJ gets published. Mark dies in Iraq. David leaves Darlene for a woman half his age. Darlene meets a woman and they have a test tube baby. Becky works at Wal-Mart. Roseanne and Jackie open the first medical marijuana dispensary in town and pay off the mortgage before the house is foreclosed on.”
The revival is part of a celebration of the 20 year anniversary of the sitcom which ended in May 1997.
The miniseries is currently being produced independently although it is heavily rumored that Neflix are in hot pursuit.
