The folks understand the meaning of giving without having anything to themselves
Marlene & John don’t have a home themselves, yet that doesn’t stop them from helping other homeless people.
They are breaking the stigmas about homeless people and showing the world that you don’t have to have deep pockets to be able to give with your whole heart.
They have only the blankets, bikes, cell phones and the clothes on their back, their loving dog and a borrowed kitchen with donated staples.
Every morning they arrive at 6:00 a.m. to cook and prepare warm meals for homeless people in their area in Copenhagen.
They head to the distribution point, where they share food, happiness and stories with hungry homeless people.
They may not have much, but they have each other, and their love and happiness is something we all need to take a step back and admire.
We get so caught up in the little annoyances in our life – we want shinier cars and nicer heels – how about for once appreciating the friends and family around us, and realizing how easy it is to be happy regardless of what we own?
